Obviously MJD is the starter but with that knee injury and a higher risk for injury given the shortened training camps what round do you see as the right time to draft him? I'm not a huge buyer of "handcuffs" but I think this situation is unique....thoughts?

I also see him as more then "just a handcuff" and I will be targetting him in all my leagues this year. He has a better YPC then MJD and is by far the healthier of the backs.

Jaguars.com suggests that Rashad Jennings could "see more carries" this season in an effort to "ease the burden" on Maurice Jones-Drew.Jones-Drew is averaging 24 touches in his last 32 games, and his knee gave out down the stretch last season. It's worth wondering if this might be too little, too late. Jennings has certainly earned a bigger workload, though, with a 5.37 yards-per-carry average in his career and top-notch skills for the passing game. Jennings should be on all fantasy radars for 2011. Jul 6, 2:33

I would look to draft Jennings at the right price regardless of whether I have MJD or not. If you pick MJD I would suggest grabbing Jennings a round or two before his ADP to ensure you get him... MJD is elite but obviously there are health concerns, and Jennings has shown he can produce in spot duty.

I don't own MJD so I guess I would be "stealing a handcuff" which is always fun. It's a 10 man league, so does round 8 sound like the right move?

For a handcuff in a bigger league, take him when you feel good about it. In a 10 team league, you really should not need handcuffs. Just my opinion.

I would look for him in the 9th or 10th round. I am going to tay away from JAC players this year. That team could be in for a long year

In a 10-team league rd 10-12 sounds about right.
And, sorry I just have to laugh when a Lions fan says it's going to be a long year for someone. :-b As a fellow Lions fan it has been a long 54 years (that is longer than I have been alive but still . . .).
