I'm in a 10-team, PPR-league with standard scoring with 3 keepers (no more than one player at any position can be kept). If the season started tomorrow, I'd keep Tony Romo, LeSean McCoy and Greg Jennings. Not a bad start.
However, our draft is in 2 weeks and another owner is trying to get McCoy from me. I could let McCoy go if the price is right and keep Darren McFadden as my keeper RB. He has the 8th overall pick in a snake draft with me having the 9th overall pick. I would like to move up in the early rounds to grab as many 2nd tier players as possible. Here is what he is offering me right now:
I am definitely countering with better picks for me; however, I am a little concerned about McFadden as my keeper. He could be a beast if he stays healthy.
I guess if I get enough picks early in the draft (late 1st, early 2nd rounds), I could bolster my RB corps with two of the following: Gore, Forte, Hillis, Turner, S-Jax, Shonn Greene, Mathews and such.
I agree that this trade doesn't work. You should counter with McFadden instead of McCoy for that. McCoy has special upside and should be kept for all but a sweetheart deal. If he wants McCoy bad enough, make it work for you or it simply doesn't make sense.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

If I accept this trade, I will have: - Tony Romo (QB keeper) - Darren McFadden (RB keeper) - Greg Jennings (WR keeper) - #8 overall pick - draft best RB/WR available - #9 overall pick - draft best RB/WR available - #12 overall pick - draft best RB/WR available
If I decline, I will keep Romo, McCoy & Jennings and try to deal McFadden for probably much less early round draft pick movement.
