11th Pick in Re-Draft?

Postby delfam » Sat Jul 30, 2011 4:19 pm

my problem is when I pick in the 3rd round most good RB's are gone so I want to go RB/RB at 11, but here is what I'm thinking goin at 11 then 14: Calvin Johnson/Matt Forte

I say this because going RB/RB would leave me with McFadden/Forte but I feel Johnson is better value than McFadden.

Is this smart knowing most good RB's are gone by late 3rd and good WR's are left or is it better to get the better value with the WR?

Is this a PPR league? If so, I can see drafting a WR and a RB around the 1st to 2nd round snake. However, if this is .5 or 0 PPR, I'd feel better starting off with Darren McFadden and Matt Forte assuming 2 RB and a flex slot.
