Trade advice

Postby Pitfan2782 » Mon Aug 01, 2011 12:40 am

I'm in a 10-team ppr league. I'm keeping Foster (5th), McCoy (4th), and Andre Johnson (1st). I also have Roddy White (2nd), but I'm not keeping him. We give up the round we drafted players in. Here's what I'm thinking;

Trade:
LeSean McCoy (4th) and Roddy White (2nd)

Receive:
Ray Rice (1st) and Mike Wallace (7th)

I'm basically trading McCoy for Rice, but there's a possibility I can draft White again this season if I don't make this trade. I want to pull Wallace away from him so that I have the possibility of drafting him, but I just realized that by keeping Johnson and Rice, I would give up my first two picks, and I don't think I could land Wallace late in the 3rd. Also, if he doesn't keep Wallace this sesaon, I could draft him anyways in the 2nd if White does end up getting drafted in the 1st. What do I do?

don't do it, Rice isnt elite neither is Wallace, you have a dependable WR in White, and a Solid back in McCoy, why ruin it?

I like Rice over McCoy, so I would pull the trigger, especially if you think you can get Wallace back in the draft.

would rather have Johnson/White as my WR's.....even if it means giving up 1st and 2nd......with Foster as a 5th your in good shape.......stay with the guys you have ....

Wallace is overrated...not high on him...

dont do it, you'd get a better overall player but you're losing alot of value on your keepers. wihich will hurt your depth by keeping higher round keepers.

Mccoy in the 4th + keeping your 1st round pick is much better than Rice + keeping a 4th round pick. With mccoy in the 4th and foster in the 5th, and your 1st 3 rounds intact for Wrs, you should be loaded.

Also, depending on your draft position and whats being thrown back into the player pool, Roddy might be a better keeper than AJ. If you have an early 1st and a late 2nd, keep Roddy in the late 2nd and try to draft AJ in the first.

more info would be helpful. Like what spot are you drafting in, and what are the best available players up until your 2nd pick.

I would not do that trade. White is a good second round pick and should have a monster season. Wallace is going to be good in the future, but I do not see out producing White this year

With J. Jones on the Falcons, White will be under even less tight coverage this season.

I definitely do not like the trade.

I'm not gonna offer this trade. Thanks for all the feedback.
