What players are always on your team?

This thread was quite popular last year.....Basically, which players do you like more than most people and thus always fall to you in your mock or real drafts? List some reasons for why you like them more than other people....

Sadly, underperformers.

I really don't target any one player, its too dependant on the draft order. I do tend to target X Defence or backup QB, but even then I have to adapt to the flow of the draft.

Agreed. The flow of the draft determines who I target more than anything. Sure there are guys that I will take later in the draft and generally target the same defense or back-up QB like Mooch pointed out.

I'll alos be able to give more input on which guys once I havve my drafts(closer to the season)

I always am a sucker for the overlooked veteran WR. The guy that is past his prime but still posts respectable numbers. For a handful of seasons Rod Smith filled that role for me. Lately it has been Derrick Mason but he may be passing the torch soon.

Never get the dude in mocks, but in real leagues, Manningham seems to end up on my squad. I've got him in about four different leagues right now...

This. I've landed Manningham as a WR2 is a bunch of my drafts.

Josh Freeman. He's never my #1 QB picked, but I always jump on him if he's around two rounds later.

I've managed to grab him in two of my three leagues so far this year, With the 100th and 104th overall picks. I own Mike Williams in both of those leagues as well, purely by coincedence.

Roy Helu is another one, and I just heard a report that Torain has already broken his wrist. Score.

In my main league we have been togeher a long time. There are a few guys who absolutely have certain guys no matter what... I will draft these players knowing that somebody else HAS to have that player. Then I can rape them later on a trade.

I always seem to wind up with Hines Ward and Steve Smith and back in the day I would always take John Kasay as my kicker... Just had to have him.. LOL
