Trade RB depth to get Andre Johnson

Postby Birderdude » Tue Aug 02, 2011 11:22 am

In a 12 team redraft league start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR 1TE, 1K, 1D. Pretty standard scoring. Here is my roster:

QB: Schaub, Freeman
RB: McCoy, MJD, Ryan Grant, Addai, Rashard Jennings
WR: Vincent Jackson, Britt, Knox, Massaqua
TE: Cooley, Celek

Should I take this trade: Grant and Addai for Andre Johnson and Mikel Leshoure?

Obviously a huge upgrade at WR, but my running back depth would be next to nothing.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat... AJ is easily the premier player in that group. Make the trade and run. ;-D

I think you have to take the deal and pray to the FF gods that injuries don't hit you this year.

Do the deal. Star players win fantasy leagues, not backups. You've got all season to scavenge the FA board for backup RBs. Every year there are a few that come out of nowhere (lagerrette blount, hillis, a.Foster from last year) . Or if not, just handcuff your starters with their backups and you should be fine.

you have to take this trade - both short term and long term
grant and addai could be done by midseason - both pressured by other backs
your top 2 are strong

please help me
