Need some help with keepers

Postby atcstudent » Wed Aug 03, 2011 5:38 pm

Second year of our PPR league and I need to pick 2 keepers. I'm just struggling with the decision at the moment. The 3 I'm mainly thinking about:

M. Vick
A. Peterson
L. McCoy

Roster:

QB- Vick, Big Ben
RB-A. Peterson, L. McCoy, R. Jennings, Jacobs, Gerhart
WR-C. Johnson, Mike Thomas, Mason, Moore
TE-Gronkowski, McMichael
D- Patriots
K- Josh Brown

Thanks

Wow, great team! Also have Calvin Johnson to chose from as well. I would keep ADP and McCoy over Johnson and then Vick. I know Vick was everyone's darling last year but he still a QB who won't revolutionize FFL like Randy Moss did for WR's. Kyle Orton was the leading passer for the year at week 12 (or something like that) and he could have been had in round 11 in our league, even lower in most.
QB: BREES, Cutler
RB: TURNER, MCGAHEE, R. JENNINGS, Leshoure, D. Williams, Hillman, Hunter, Dwyer
WR: CRUZ, GARCON, Amendola, Edwards, D. Baldwin
TE: GRAHAM

very nice team. I would definately keep AP and McCoy. To many weapons in Philly this year for Vick to have better year than last.

I'll agree on AP and McCoy. I'd rather have two stud RBs and a "lesser" QB like Schaub, than a lower 2nd RB like a Blount/Mathews.

Good luck!

He doesn't have to have a better year than last to be considered, but with that said I have AP and McCoy ahead of him and think they're the way to go ;-D

BTW, welcome to the Cafe - hope you stick around for the upcoming season and we get to see more of you ;-)

I'm with everyone else, keep AP and McCoy. I think Vick could take a bit of a tumble and if DJax holds out it would hurt his numbers also. Take two top rb's and get a qb in your draft. Good luck.
