2nd Pick... AJ Green or Julio Jones ?

My buddy is picking first and he's definitely go Mark Ingram.
I am in need of a WR. so most boards have AJ Green as #2, but I got this feeling about Julio Jones?
am I crazy thinking about taking Julio Jones?

You're not crazy, and it's probably a matter of whether you prefer talent versus situation. Julio is in a much better position to have a fantasy impact this year imho. He's on a good offense, and will get looks when White gets doubled and the like. Green is FAR more talented, but the Bengals are kinda in flux this year. Not sure who the QB will be and what the team is gonna look like. I prefer Green personally, and I think he's the better long term pick. Jones will most likely have a bit more of an immediate impact early on though.

Jones = solid talent, potentially great opportunity

When I'm thinking young WR in dynasties, I'll take elite talent and hope the rest pans out every single last time. Green it is

Matt Ryan and that offense is hard to pick against. still not sure though.

I think the ceiling with AJ Green is significantly higher. We saw T.O. and Ochocinco put up some huge weeks in 2010 when no one expected them to. A.J. is currently better than both of those guys and will have no competition like they had.

I think you have to go with Green. Don't get distracted by Jones' situation, because its not just upside. Just because Jones has White taking top corners he is the obvious number one, and will be treated that way with lots of throws his way. That doesn't even include the throws that Gonzalez will definitely get. So if you're optimistic Jones will get what is left over which may be average right now, but my money is on Green who will progress with Dalton. An Elite WR who is thrown into the mix early with the QB of the future....sounds like good upside to me.

I'm going to be the odd man out, again. Julio Jones is a good receiver, and he's in a great spot. You run virtually no risk over the next several years by taking him, and he's practically guaranteed to perform well for you.

AJ Green may be more talented, but some of that talent could go to waste while the Bengals rebuild. While they're rebuilding, I'd still like to win myself.
