Is this a total redraft league or are there keepers?
If redraft it is a tough choice. You are losing 22players from what your choice was an hoping you can draft better deeper in the draft but doubling up in the middle rounds.
I am torn. If you can historically find lightening in a bottle do it. If you had done middle of the road and not won the league recently, don't do it.

Thanks for the help with mine! I would only make this trade in a keeper league. Tough to have only 1 pick in the first 2 rounds!!

in the first trade you are basically trading your 2/7 for a 3/4/5.
I kinda of like the deal for you, you do lose your 2nd round which sucks but getting those 3/4/5 is huge, espically in a 16 team league because by the time its like the 8th round there is so little left.
If you look at adp you lose someone like fitz/DMC/Manning but you gain M. WIlliamstb/dez bryant/bradshaw, witten/clark/marshall, d. williams/graham/gonzalez.

thanks for the help with mine
this is a tough one and like one poster said above, it'd be a little easier if it were a keeper league, but even still; with this being a 14-team league, I think i might actually do the 1st trade since you'd get some nice 3-5 round picks. I would definitely not do the 2nd trade as I really don't think it offers you much of a benefit
thanks for the help with mine

I did a trade similar to this last year and it did very well for me. I was third in my league. The person I did the trade with took 2nd and not because of the way he drafted it was because he picked up Vick and Hillis in FA.
The majority of the time the 3-6th rounds are where all the good players are at. For example, I was capable of getting Foster and Forte in the 4th round last year that helped my team out tremendously. If you do this, which I think you should, make sure you pick up Felix Jones.

If you have to do one, I would pick the first one. That would give you 7 players in the first four rounds. 7 starters in the first 4 rounds of a 16 team league is pretty good. Good luck with your season.

WOW
this is a really complex question!
I guess one way of approaching this question is to estimate the value of each pick by looking at ESPN's average draft position sheet and then add up each player's $ value in an auction and seeing which trade comes out to more money.
But that'll take some work!
