6 Team non-keeper 1-PPR - my favorite draft I've ever done

Postby Jaymun » Sun Aug 07, 2011 10:02 pm

I do a $60 fantasy league with my friends every year, we did the draft tonight.

QB: Rivers
QB: Roethlisberger
RB: Ray Rice
RB: Ahmad Bradshaw
RB: Fred Jackson
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Reggie Wayne
TE: Vernon Davis
WR/RB: Kenny Britt
WR/RB: Shonn Greene
K: Nobody yet
DEF: Bears
Bench: Reggie Bush
Bench: Rob Gronkowski
Bench: Danny Woodhead
Bench: Shane Vereen
Bench: Sam Bradford
Bench: Donnie Avery
Bench: Percy Harvin
Bench: Braylon Edwards

I'm insanely happy with this team, the only pick I really doubted myself after was Big Ben. Usually I leave drafts a little uncertain, not this time. Please rate/comment

It is tough to gauge value in shallower leagues, but you are solid top to bottom.

You have great wide receivers, which is an incredible asset in full point per reception leagues. Your 3 elite options of two Johnsons and Wayne is complimented nicely by the upside of Harvin and Britt. It appears this is a 2 QB league, so Rivers and Big Ben are both solid options. Rice and Bradshaw are both backs that are involved with the passing game, so PPR boosts their value even higher. Greene and Jackson also look to be the cow bells on their team, so the amount of touches they will be getting will produce value.

Now, it is likely that all the teams in your league look like they could be competitive due to the smaller size. With respect to that, I still do like your roster.

Good luck in 2011 ;-D
