I'm in an 8 team, non-PPR league. There are some small bonuses for big performances (100/200 yards rush/rec, 300/400 yards passing, 5 receptions). There is also -2 for every time your QB is sacked, hopefully this will be taken away this year. The commish had something like -28 for that disastrous Cutler game.

2QB, 2RB, RB/WR, 2 WR, WR/TE, TE

I can keep up to three players from last year's team and forfeit a pick two rounds ahead of where they were drafted the year before. Players can only be kept for 3 years, then they return to the pool.

Arian Foster (5th) is a no brainer

I'm also figuring VJax (13th) to be a lock, tough to beat that value

Other potentials, round forfeited in parenthesis:
Nicks (8th)
Schaub (11th) (kept once)
Vernon Davis (10th) (kept once)
Bradshaw (13th)

I love Nicks and know he's a beast, but does Bradshaw represent a better value?

I guess my real question is would the potential of having Bradshaw as a 11th and then 9th, trump the stud appeal of Nicks (who would be a 6th and then 4th)?

Two -QB league I think I'm keeping Foster, Jackson and Schaub.

Nicks and Bradshaw are solid to awesome values, but in a league with around 24 QBs being rostered and 2/3 of them starting I think it's important to lock up one of those elite top-8 guys so you're not starting a platoon of Stafford and Orton before you know it. Some might disagree with this since Bradshaw's pricetag is so nice, and even Nicks' isn't bad, but Schaub for an 11th in this format (especially considering you have Foster and Jackson for solid-great prices) is the way I'd recommend going
