New to FFB Keeper Leagues, Help will be greatly appreciated

Have played FFB before but never a keeper league. I am joining a league that has been running for 3 years. I have to choose 3 keepers for a standard 12 team league with standard scoring (.5 PPR) but round value has to be taken into consideration. These are the option that stand out to me and could be available.

Mendenhall(6th), Charles(6th), Greene(6th), Mccoy(4th), CJ2K(4th)
Foster(3rd), Rice(3rd) D-Mac(7th) AP(1st),

Nicks(4th), Mike Wallace(4th), Vjackson(5th), M. Austin(12th),
Dez(6th), Megatron(2nd), R. White(1st), A. Johnson(1st), Jennings (1st)

Rivers(2nd), Rodgers (1st)

Rank them as you see best to start my team. All of these options will not be there but these are all possibilities.

I would be choosing Charles, Mendy and Nicks.

Chris Johnson is very close and could be taken instead of Mendy. Austin is a great value for a 12th and depending on your keeper rules may be a consideration as well.

In the future do you lose the next round up? Are the keepers unlimited?

I would take Charles, CJ2K, and Nicks.

You may want to keep Austin as well, however I'm not so sure. If you were to keep Austin, then don't keep Nicks, and get a good value WR2.

That's just how I see it.

These are the ones I would keep. Austin for a 12th might be too good to pass up over VJax. You should be able to get one of the top WR (ie Megatron, White or A. Johnson) with your first pick.

I just reread your post... I am confused by "might" be available. With 36 players being kept, there is very little chance that any of these guys are available. No way will anyone toss Charles, McCoy, CJ424 etc... back into the mix.
