Keeper League/Salary Cap Hit for Retired Player

Postby chargersdiehard » Tue Aug 09, 2011 1:37 pm

In our keeper league if a player retires and files his retirement papers with the NFLPA, like Randy Moss, the owner of that player can drop the player and only be penalized a salary cap hit of 50% for this season. All future year slary cap hits, if any, are waived because the player retired.

The question has become should the owner be awared with a compensatory pick in the Rookie Draft?

Thoughts?

i wouldnt have an issue with an extra pick at the end of the draft so that everyone can get their roster filled out
