Draft Strategy/Advice for a 8 Team H2H League

Im in a redraft 8 team H2H league NON PPR.

Standard Scoring

This is my usual strategy but idk if i should use the same strategy for a 8 team league. What do you guys think?

1st round- Top 5 overall pick=RB. Pick6-=WR/QB
2- RB/WR
3- RB/WR
4- RB/WR
5- QB if i havent taken one already or RB/WR
6- RB/WR
7- TE if top tier players are still left if not RB/WR
8- TE if didnt take one in previous round or RB/WR
9- Starting Defense or Backup QB
10- Starting Defense or RB/WR
And so on...

It seems like a good strategy but I wouldn't pay much attention to it when you actually draft. Every time I try to make a plan I have to throw it out the window...thats what makes drafting difficult, and more so fun. The people who win are the ones who can make the best decisions on the go, its nice to have a plan, but be able to veer off and still draft successfully

Prety much... BPA is always the way to go. If you lock yourself into taking a position, you cost yourself value. The layout looks fine in a ideal scenario but just keep drafting BPA and fill your needs and you will be fine.
