What to Do?

Postby jcflash5 » Sun Aug 14, 2011 4:42 pm

I get to pick my draft spot in a 10 team PPR league this year. Where should I pick and who should I eye as my pick?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Cafe.

I have the 6 slot as a favourite this year. I think the top 6 RB's are very close and I think you may as well move down as far as you can. Someone may even take Vick, Rodgers or AJ in there moving you up further.

If you don't want to be at the top with that elite group, I wouldn't hate being around the snake in 2011 as far as PPR leagues go. It gives you a shot to pair two top wideouts such as Calvin Johnson, Roddy White, Larry Fitzgerald or Hakeem Nicks to start off the draft. There are some decent mid round RB targets such as Ahamad Bradshaw, Ryan Matthews, Jahvid Best, and Felix Jones to compliment your two stud wideouts. The drawback of this strategy is that there can be a decent amount of risk with mid-round running backs. IMO, that risk is balanced with a couple 85+ catch, 10 TD wide receivers.

I was thinking of picking in the top 3 just because I wanted 1 of the trio of AP, CJ2K, or Arian. Any other Suggestions???
