Keeper Question! 2QB PPR!

We have 4 keepers in a 2QB 1pt PPR league. I have 3rd pick. My first 3 keepers are pretty set. Austin, Rice, Roethlisberger.

4th keeper is where it gets tricky. I have Mendenhall and Sam Bradford.

The #1 pick is keeping 2QB's, WR, TE. #2 is keeping 1QB, 1RB, 2WR.

Other possible available players at my pick include :

QB - Cutler, Flacco, Stafford, Kolb
RB - Best, Blount, Mathews, Moreno and so on

Am I crazy for even considering keeping Bradford and taking my chances at the RB position? I think I might be. Mendenhall is coming off a 380+ carry season (including playoffs) and that scares me.

For this year, I'd rank the players in question:

Stafford > Cutler > Flacco > Bradford > Kolb
Mendenhall >> Blount > Best > Moreno >> Mathews (PPR may put Best & Moreno above Blount)

That means, I'd probably keep Mendenhall and take the best QB available with your first pick since it is a 2 QB league.

It's not crazy to consider keeping Bradford given your league settings and I'm surprised that more teams aren't keeping 2 QBs (or maybe it's a small league?), but if you think you'll be able to get one of those 5 QBs, I'd rather make sure I keep Mendenhall.

Yea that was my thinking as well.

It's only a 10 team league, so it's not big at all.

My order of rankings would be a little different but the bottom line is I would keep Mendy as well.

With the QBs that will be available at your third pick, I would keep Mendy and take best available QB.

Now, who should I target for the QB?

Problem is with my 4 keepers, 2 of them each share bye weeks. So Mendy, Roeth are off week 11. Rice and Austin are off Week 5.

Bradford and Flacco are off week 5, so that leaves Stafford and Cutler.

Don't worry about the bye week as much as focusing on who you want. I would go Stafford, Cutler, Flacco then Bradford

If you do get Stafford, I think it's smart to handcuff him with Shaun Hill, who has shown to be a reliable backup and knows how to find Megatron.
