Rank 'em: Mendenhall, Gore, Turner, Forte, SJax

I am likely looking at these guys as my RB1 options. Seriously considering drafting two of them (I am in the 12th spot snake in a league that has a WR/RB flex positions).

So far I am leaning towards this ranking:

Mendenhall
Forte
Gore
Turner
Sjax


Mendenhall is so far my RB1. He was pretty solid last year and his 2011 schedule looks to me like absolute butter. No real threat from a goal line vulture. Tomlinson just gave him a lot of praise, including his ability as a receiver, and said he plans to use him a lot.

Forte is currently my RB2 as he has been pretty consistent the last three years and has an RB1 game in him every now and then. But...

I REALLY want to get Gore because he has that upside and is such a stud. My problem with Gore is injuries and a suck-ass QB.

Turner bothers me because I feel like he has had injury problems of late and isn't getting any younger. Also feel like his upside is more limited as he doesn't catch passes.

SJax is in a work-in-progress offense (which I guess IS an improvement for the Rams) and it is a a Josh McDaniels offense. (Running back? What's a running back?)


Those are my current impressions and am having serious difficulties with it as I am not really thrilled with the choices. Having particular trouble with Forte and Gore.

Any thoughts?

Mendenhall - clear cut #1
Sjax - better offense should get him more points
Gore - offense still in turmoil so he is below SJax on my list
Forte - Could end up leading this group but still just one of those guys I don't trust
Turner - Injuries and workload concern me. If ATL is smart, they give Snelling and Rodgers 15 touches a game limiting Turner.

Assuming standard scoring, I like them:

Mendy

SJax
Gore
Forte
Turner

Mendy is the head of the class, the other 4 are pretty close in value IMHO.
