Top Sleeper WR's

Postby DemonDeacon » Tue Aug 16, 2011 6:55 pm

Just wanted to get the cafe's opinion on the top sleeper WR's in this draft. This is one of the better sleeper classes I've seen in quite a while personally. I usually define a sleeper as a post 8ish rd ADP, someone whose not typically drafted to be a starter on your team in other words that becomes an every week consideration or player. If you vote other please let us know who your thinking about.

Thanks in advance! And as always WHIR ;-D

38 9.02 Mike Thomas WR JAC
41 9.10 Jacoby Ford WR OAK
48 10.11 Danny Amendola WR STL
52 11.09 Lance Moore WR NO
62 13.12 Nate Burleson WR DET

Just from a quick ADP list those would probably be my top 5

I like Mario Manningham although his value is rising.

I almost added Amendola to this list as i think he could be a Welker clone but figured MSW had a bigger upside this year. Like the list, also like Burleson as well IF Stafford stays healthy

Same here. In the latest Rotoworld mock the guy went in the 5th round tho... I hate it when these big sites ruin my sleeper picks >.< haha

I think in a ppr league Amendola can be a mini Welker this season. Manningham will most likely start to climb up draft boards with Boss and Smith leaving vis FA. As far as the other wr's I think Burress may play well, but it will take part of the season for him to get his timing back and knock off some of that rust, until then he is going to be hit or miss with red zone targets. I also like Thomas in Jax, they lost Simms Walker and he had 102 targets last season and 66 catches, those numbers should both go up this coming season. Good luck.
