I have the 4th overall pick in a 12team keeper league...

my two keeps are Andre Johnson and Roddy White...

...the best available QBs will be Tony Romo and Matt Schaub (who I will not take in the first round)...

...best available RBs will be MJD, Frank Gore, Mendenhall, Forte - and the like...

however - Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald will still be available...

although I already have two top tier WRs -- I feel like I should grab Calvin or Larry...because they are the best on the board...

...will my RB and QB situation suffer too much if I do that?

Tempting to keep stacking the WRs but man you need to get some quality RBs too. Of the choice you gave, Mendenhall would be my pick. He's a solid #1 back. You must have a complete, well-rounded team to win championships.

Does your league award points per reception? If so I would consider taking a swing at Megatron or Fitz, but otherwise there is no way I would pass up those RB options. I would rank them Mendenhall, MJD, Gore, Forte.

I think with AJ and White on board already I would take the RB and Mendy would be my first choice in a keeper league.

Ya i would look RB at your pick. Maybe if Mend, MJD, and gore all get chosen with the 1st 3 picks then i would jump on calvin or fitz over forte probably. If your draft doesnt have a time limit i would just wait til its your pick, see where you can get value, and maybe swing a trade with one of ur stud WR's for a better RB than avaliable and then draft Calvin or Fitz? IDK just trying to think outside the box. Theres alot of talent there and i think u need an RB obviously but if forte is the only 1 left at 4 i would be very tempted to take Calvin or Fitz.
