Bye Weeks - Factor during draft?

I want some opinions about what people do when looking at bye weeks while drafting. I'm considering looking at a bye week that has the most teams off at once, and then trying to pick mostly players from those teams. That way I have my top performing team every week of the season except one, and basically I end up throwing that game because I can't fill my roster. Or would not filling your roster for one out of 14 weeks be considered poor sportsmanship?

how do you know you are going to win every other week? that 1 week you have to throww could cost you the playoffs.. draft your team . take the best available player according to value, and position u want. if it comes down to a tie between guys available you could use bye as a tiebreaker, but do you really want to pass on a better player because of bye weeks?

also dont you carry bench players? if you have bye weeks spaced out across the season and have a decent bench for filling in that week you can stilll win

I don't think you should target a particularly bye week or shoot for all guys with same bye week either. However, I do believe as JackedSierra said that you should target the best available player and don't worry if they happen to have the same bye week as long as you don't draft your all your starting and bench rb's lets say that have a week 9 bye then you could be in trouble. Just go with best available that strategy has worked for me in the past.
