12-Team ESPN League - Team Opinion - Will Rate Back

Postby basketballmj33 » Sat Aug 20, 2011 10:22 am

12 - team ESPN NON-PPR league
1 Keeper (if selected in rounds 1-10, counts as a first round next year - if 11 - 15, counts as the round he was chosen in)

25 yards = 1 pt for QB
10 yards = 1 pt for WR/TE/RB
Td = 6 Points for everyone
Bonuses for eclipsing 100/200 yards rushing/receiving and 300/400 yards passing
Starters:
QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
TE
D
K

there was a few questionable picks that helped a few players fall, hopefully i snagged the correct ones (one of our guys took Blount REALLY early, someone hightower in like the 3rd round, and few more)

My holdover for the year = Ben Roethlisberger as a 13th rounder

My Team:
QB = Manning, Roethlisberger, Mcnabb
RB = Chris Johnson, Mark Ingram, Mike Tolbert, Ryan Williams, Donald Brown
WR = Fitzgerald, Dez Bryant, Steve Smith (CAR), Mike Thomas
TE = Gates, Zack Miller
D = Falcons
K = Viniateri

thoughts?

I like it. I really do. You should have a top 3 team here.

The only non-strong (I can't call it weak since it's still good) spot I'd say you have is after CJ2000 in the RB game.

- I like Ingram as a low #2 or a high #3 for now since we all know the Saints love to pass and they STILL may have a RBC approach.
- Ryan Williams MAY be lost for the season with a knee/leg injury.
- Mike Tolbert will be splitting carries with Matthews who I still think the Chargers want to get going as their #1
- Donald still has to split time with Addai and doesn't get enough carries to be a

I'd see if I couldn't trade Roethlisberger (or even Manning) try and get a very good #2. IMO, you have 2 top-flight starting QBs who are mostly healthy during the season, only one can play a week. Might as well try and trade one to help your RBs.

All of that is pending how YOU think Ingram will do. If you think he can be a solid #2, then stay put.

Good job, man!

Great draft I would trade Manning or Roeth for either a WR or RB. Otherwise this is pretty solid.

Solid RB1 and RB3. I like your team. However, if it were my team, I would first get rid of McNabb. You probably don't need 3 qbs and are basically using up your roster spot. RB2 position, Ingram, IMO is risky w/ health and hasn't had a great preseason. Pierre Thomas I believe is the starter now and Ingram will get his cut too tho. I would also sell high on Gates. Most people don't know that he has plantar fisciitis and the injury never really goes away. I would do gates and ingram trade for better RB2 and solid TE. But hey if ingram has a good year I would take the risk with gates. ;-D
