Postby roninmedia » Mon Aug 22, 2011 12:13 pm

I didn't start making a cheat sheet until about 3 days before my draft.

QB: Peyton Manning, David Garrard
RB: Ray Rice*, Matt Forte*, Fred Jackson*, Ryan Mathews, Tim Hightower
WR: Marques Colston*, Chad Ochocinco*, Julio Jones, Arrelious Benn, Pierre Garcon
TE: Brandon Pettigrew
PK: Neil Rackers
D/ST: Kansas City Chiefs
(Fred Jackson is the starter in a flex spot)

Some notes in scoring that benefit quarterbacks and defense/special teams.

I see a mixed bag here, some good, some bad. Is this a PPR league? If so, love Forte and Rice as your RB tandem. Even if not, they will be solid every week starters, you won't have to mix it up much if at all.

You picked up a top QB which is helpful given your scoring, and I think you did so at the expense of your receivers. I think both of your starters have some question marks. Colston- that Payton offense is unpredictable, injury issues. Ocho- could be major bust or a major boom. If it all breaks right, I think you'll be fine, but if i were you I'd be looking out for an upgrade at the position that would relegate Ocho to flex consideration. If you can get someone to bite on Mathews for a comparably rated receiver, i'd make the switch. RB are easier to find throughout the season and I don't like that Tolbert will sap so much value from him. Maybe a 2 for 2 where you give up Mathews and a bench receiver for someone's WR and a bench RB.

Good job, and good luck! Take a look at mine if you get a chance:
