Could you drop Gore/Brees/Forte? WHIR

We keep up to 3 players with no penalty.

Eligible to be kept:
Rice
Gore
Forte
Brees

I'm tempted to only keep Ray Rice this year as I'll then have picks: 2.02, 3.02, 4.02, 5.02, 6.09

With those picks, Brees, Gore and Forte will almost assuredly be available, but its a risk. And there hasn't been one league champion in the last 5 years without a top tier QB. So Brees will go fast. Gore has burned me more than once. And Forte is only just off a rebound season.

My concern is that the top WR available will put me at a disadvantage being that I'd be lucky to land Vincent Jackson or Greg Jennings at my WR1. More likely is Miles Austin or Mike Wallace, both of which I'm not fans of as a #1.

Do I take the risk that the player pool is deep enough and only keep Rice? Or should I keep Rice/Brees? Or any combination?

3 with no penalty? I am inclined to keep Rice, Brees, AND Forte. Forte in the third probably is not there. For that matter Brees either, your risking one very good player on hopes of improving a little in the second round. As you said you need stud QB and Brees is definitely that.

I am confused with the no penalty remark. It looks as though you are saying if you keep Rice you will lose your first rounder. Can you clarify?
