PPR: 4 WR/TE strategy? WHIR

Assuming a team is drafting at the end of the draft (we'll say 12th in a 12 team league), is it a viable strategy to take 4 Wide Receivers and a Tight End with one's first five picks assuming you can start all five every week?

An example draft:

12th: Larry Fitzgerald
13th: Hakeem Nicks
36th: Mike Williams
37th: Antonio Gates
60th: Percy Harvin
61st: RB/QB

Even with much more expected out of Williams and Harvin this year, all five players (Gates excluded due to injury) finished in the top 39 RB/WR/TE's in 2010, a number drug down by Harvin missing two games and being ranked 39th (Mike Williams, the next lowest, finished 28th).

Yes, your RB's would likely be mediocre as heck, but they can easily be viewed as a team's FLEX position rather than the actual FLEX positions filled by WR's.

So, in short, could the line-up below be successful?

QB: Eli Manning
RB: Reggie Bush/Tim Hightower
RB: Danny Woodhead/Brandon Jacobs
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
WR: Hakeem Nicks
RB/WR/TE: Mike Williams
RB/WR/TE: Percy Harvin
TE: Antonio Gates

Anything can work, is it likely to? Nope. Being so far behind and needing to find essentially 2 perfect RB's in round 7 and later is a strategy I would never employ.

I say 100% no questions get a RB in the top 3 rounds so that way you have 1 RB to lean on all year.

SO if your 12th pick you can get lets say. Megatron and White..then you still can get a cold cut RB in round 3.

If McFadden, Mendy, MJD, are there I would pair one of them with A top WR. THEN go WR WR if thats what you want.

You gotta get 1 solid RB though its a MUST!!!!!!!!!!! You can always get WR's later on...Like H.Ward, Plaxico, Edwards,

Not at all. PPR makes a lot of RBs more valuable. You need to take at least 1 RB with your 1st or 2nd round pick. After that it does not matter and yes, you can draft WRs and TEs. But you definitely need one stud RB.
