10 Team 10th Pick - Polarized League

Postby Gallo » Sat Aug 27, 2011 11:24 pm

My team looks pretty solid by normal standards but we had a couple of homers who skewed the draft. Their teams are really bad and thus everyone else's team is slightly better than average.

Scoring 4 pts - Passing TD, 25 Yds per point passing, NO PPR
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 (RB/WR), 1 TE, 1 DST, 1 K

QB - P. Manning, M. Stafford
RB - L. McCoy, R. Mendenhall, S. Jackson, R. Mathews, M. Lynch
WR - V. Jackson, S. Johnson, A. Boldin, K. Britt
TE - V. Davis, M. Lewis
DST - Lions
K - Cundiff

I'm really strong at RB but am worried about my WRs. Let me know your thought.

As far as non-PPR leagues go, I'd rather be strong at RB and weak at WR than the other way around.

Vincent Jackson is a low end WR1, but a WR1 nonetheless. Stevie Johnson is no slouch, but I'm expecting a little regression in the TD department. Because you are so strong at RB, you could probably package one of your backs with Johnson, Boldin, or Britt for an upgrade in that department.

You are more than squared away at QB, TE, and RB so your only real concern is WR. I have to hedge that a bit, because QB could be sticky if Peyton can't return to the field and Stafford goes down early in the season.

I wouldn't try to force a trade, but if anyone needs RB help and has good WR depth you can probably strike up a win-win deal.

Good luck in 2011 ;-D
