So I did about 20 mock drafts to get an idea what I'd be aiming for and where... and did a little better than I expected early. I kind of screwed up on my QB and RB depth, but I think I grabbed some major WR players that will make for great trading throughout the season. We drafted 17 rounds and we play 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/1Flex/1K/1DP/1DST
I had first pick.
Round 1 - Arian Foster
Round 2 - Calvin Johnson
Round 3 - Roddy White
Round 4 - LaGarette Blount
Round 5 - Percy Harvin
Round 6 - Tony Romo
Round 7 - Jermichael Finley
Round 8 - Julio Jones
Round 9 - Mario Manningham
Round 10 - Fred Jackson
Round 11 - Mike Sims-Walker
Round 12 - Sam Bradford
Round 13 - Rashad Jennings
Round 14 - Ben Tate
Round 15 - Cowboys D/ST
Round 16 - Lawrence Timmons
Round 17 - Josh Brown
I'm somewhat worried about my RB situation, but worst case scenario I should still be okay shape. I have Foster's handcuff and picked up Rashad Jennings before the MJD owner, which I think I really might pay off. I just couldn't go for a 13th and lower RB option in round 2/3 with two top 4 receivers still available. Blount is looking better this year and no more Caddy to fall back on. Worst case scenario I'm stuck with a few weeks of relying on Fred Jackson.. I think I should be okay.
Was surprised to get Romo and Finley so late. Julio Jones, Manningham, and Harvin all seem to have really high upside this year.. I think the issue will be picking which one to play and which to bench for my flex.
Anyway, how'd I do? Any big worries?
