Want to make sure I understand
If you wanted to you could start:
1 QB, 1 RB, 2WR, 2TE, DEF, K
or
1 QB, 1 RB, 0 WR, 4 TE, DEF, K
or
1 QB, 3 RB, 2 WR, 0 TE, DEF, K
but you must start 1 QB, 1 RB, DEF, K and then mix and match the rest.
If this is correct then here is my opinion on your roster:
First off I like your keepers at their prices, the only one I question is Moreno at $20 with $160 cap, but in my auction drafts Moreno has been going at about $30 with $200, so I can see it.
Second your keepers as players, as stated I like your keepers at the price they were kept. I think Rice will continue to do better and get more production because I don't see Ricky Williams stealing goal-line carries as McGahee did and is doing in Denver now, Austin should be better with a healthy Romo throwing the ball to him, Moreno will get most of the touches just again McGahee may steal some of the goal-line work.
Players I like from the rest: Brady, Plaxico, Witten, Davis. Brady is Brady with now Chad Ochocinco, two great TEs, Welker out of the slot. To say the least Brady will produce. Plaxico has looked good in the preseason and has even gotten some looks in the redzone I think he will produce this year. Witten is always a good TE and is a safety blanket for Romo so he will get his catches and TDs. I like Davis because he is the main receiver for the 49ers, because Crabtree is hurt, Edwards is alright but not really great, the main problem is the QB situation is so bad.
Players I don't like: deion branch, thomas jones, Joseph Addai. The only reason I don't like Addai is because of his health, Thomas Jones I feel like there could have been a better back out there like McGahee to have both Moreno and McGahee to lock up the TDs for Den. Deion Branch is basically the 3rd WR Brady will spread the ball enough that he will get passes but with Welker, Chad Ochocinco, and the TEs I just don't know how much.
Players I think you should add: if McGahee is still out there pick him up, I will would also pick up Danny Amendola, because since this is PPR; Danny Amendola led the Rams last year in receptions and redzone targets some have even called him Wes Welker version 2. Would also look and see if Lee Evans is still available, he did get injured (forgot what it was, wasn't serious though) but he has looked good in the preseason.
Overall: Not bad, just don't like some of your depth. QB, TE, DEF, K are fine wouldn't really mess with them. Would maybe look to see if you can't trade a TE to get a better RB3 or WR3 or both.
