Post Irene Check-In?

Well Irene has come and gone (and let me tell you, what a GORGEOUS day it left behind it here!) so everyone in the blast pattern check-in here.

Montreal was far enough out of the actual landfall that we most had heavy winds and steady rain. A few tree limbs down here and there and lots of temporary power outages and brownouts but nothing too major.

I attend an inexpensive PA state school, which attracts a lot of folks from Jersey. They had some power troubles at home, but most of their families stayed safe. My fam that lives near Philly got some heavy rain and wind, but never lost power. At the school we had a grand total of two minutes of power outages, with a few surges. The town seems alright around here. Boardwalks and the coastal areas in Jersey got pretty wrecked up though, and the Carolinas seem to have it rough.
