Hey there, got an offer from a desperate owner with basically no RB2.

14-team league, standard scoring(no-ppr)
Start : 2 RBs, 2 WRs and 1 Flex(WR/RB)

I give : Beanie Wells/ A.Brown(Pit)
I get: Desean Jackson/ D. Woodhead

My RBs: LeSean McCoy, Shonn Greene, Beanie Wells, Mark Ingram, Kendall Hunter

My WRs: Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Marshall, Pierre Garcon, Robert Meachem, A. Brown(pit).

Should I hang tight? Or make the trade?

I would make that trade, you upgrade at WR and you still have Ingram for the flex spot.

You hurt your depth a little bit at RB but nothing that can't be fixed through free agency.

I honestly don't know if you gain that much in the deal, if anything. Jackson is barely a starter for you over Marshall, and I don't think you could even justify it week in, week out. Brown has some really nice upside, and Beanie can either be part of an RBBC at your flex spot or a backup if Greene flames out or you want to make a deal to truly upgrade a starting spot in exchange for some depth, etc. It's not a ripoff, but I wouldn't pull the trigger on this one - hope this helps

yea make the trade, even with beanie being hte guy now in arizona i think he will have a pretty lackluster year, and i think desean still has a lot of untapped potential and could have a bigger year then last year, your roster is pretty balanced so you wont be hurting yourself by losing beanie too much and on value alone you definitely will be getting the better end of the trade so i would say yes

Desean Jackson is a proven WR, what has Beanie ever done? Take that trade and run with it. The Cardinals thought so much of Beanie that they drafted another running back to take his spot. Too bad he is injured now. Beanie will get the first carries of the year but don't be surprised when he gets another injury or other RBs begin to share his workload.

Thanks for the help. I think this trade is a close call because you only start 2 wr's. If this were a league w/ 3 wr's, you would take this deal and run with it. That said, I think I would still do this trade. It's definitely a risk, because your rb depth is taking a hit. I don't have a lot of confidence in Beanie, though. I know he's the man there, but at least with D-Jax, you know exactly what you are getting. Hope it works out for ya.
