Huge, huge trade. WHIR. Vick, Brees, Calvin, and others.

Alright, so heres the deal: 8 team local league, non-keeper, non PPR.

Here's the trade I'm looking at:

Michael Vick
Sidney Rice
Felix Jones
Dez Bryant

I get:
Drew Brees
Calvin Johnson
Ryan Mathews

With the roster spot I could pick up one of these guys: Marshawn Lynch, James Starks, Santana Moss, or Danny Amendola.

Would you do this deal?

No because you are only upgrading at one spot, unless you like Brees over Vick this year. I mean Brees is a safer pick but you drafted Vick for a reason, so I would stay with him. Mathews wouldn't be starting for you so theres really not much of a point. So you would be getting a change of QB...prolly a downgrade, a better WR, and a RB you wouldn't use except for byes. It really just depends on how much you like Vick over Brees...or maybe vice versa.

Well I mean I like vick, he was awesome last year and I was thrilled when he fell to me in the second round. However, this preseason he has very much scared me, both in his personal play and in the team's offensive line play. Brees is as close to a sure thing as there is in the NFL so I feel like thats a safer pick. I'm not sure. This is a mind twister. I really think Dez and Felix will break out this year but there is definetely the chance that one or neither of them do.

I feel like Dez can be a top receiver this year and I can salvage some depth. but I tend to overvalue some players pre-trading. IDK.

Theres no Question about the WR, if i was offered to have Sidney Rice and Dez Bryant on my team or Calvin Johnson, i would take Calvin. Sidney Rice...is coming to a new team and should put up okay numbers (I hope) and Dez Bryant should/could be on the Verge of a break out season, but theres so many options in Dallas. Which can lead you self to as ask ...who else is there in Detroit...exactly....So i'ld go with the Decepticon here who clearly will upgrade your team.

Matthews and Felix are both due for a break out season...they both have the potential to do it...I see Matthews living up to his hype that he had last year and having a pretty good year...sadly youll only get to start him if one of your two starters has a bye or goes down with an injury *cough* Madden Curse *cough* So I really like both of them. but Matthews IN MY OPINION has more potential.

And in the Case of Vick vs Brees. I like Brees more mainly cause he does less running... more running more chance to get knocked on your arse.

Anyways thats just my two cents. I personally would do the trade because of thoose reasons up there but its up to you.

I like the trade. Vick is a risk, big risk, Brees is solid. Rice is a major injury risk. Felix is barely a backup. Dez is good, but he's a head case. Cavlin is a BEAST. RyanM has potential to do really well. YES, do the trade. I like it a lot.
