Which RB to bench wk.1

It's still a little early, but which one would you bench?
B. Wells vs Carolina
BJGE vs. Miami
F. Jones vs NY Jets
Mendenhall vs. Baltimore

After consideration, this is tougher than I thought it would be when I first read it. Mendenhall and Jones were your early picks and I'd go with them for sure early in the season, regardless of matchups. However, it's a little more difficult to choose between the other two.

I think I'd start Beanie over BJGE. Belichick isn't committed to the run and he seems to thrive on the Dolphins. He'll want to make a statement in the division early and will try to crush the Dolphins. I could see BJGE getting fewer touches than Beanie and the NE passing game going wild. Beanie is a question mark, too, but I think Carolina's DEF will allow him decent yardage and maybe a TD, as ARI tries to establish their running game.

So to answer your question, I'd sit BJGE.

I agree with sitting Green-Ellis. There is no such thing as a clear-cut #1 back in NE, and you know Wells is going to get a lot of touches. BJGE is going to have a bigger game once in a while, but I wouldn't take the chance on him unless it's a bye week for one of the others.

You have to ABSOLUTELY start Beanie for Week 1. Carolina's run D is atrocious, got torched all preseason.

Agreed. Bench the Law Firm. Too much uncertainty and Belick loves to keep people guessing, starting various formations, RBs, TEs and WRs...Beanie vs Carolina is a good decision.
