Antonio Brown deserving of a spot? WHIR

Postby saemick » Tue Aug 30, 2011 6:02 pm

Yes, I know it's preseason, but I'm in a fairly deep league & he's looked pretty damn good. Is he worth a roster spot over any of the current players on my squad:

QB: Freeman, Eli
RB: Foster, Ingram, Best, Carter, Spiller, Helu, Tate
WR: AJ, Mike Williams (TB), Dez Bryant, A.J. Green, Ford, D. Moore
TE: Gresham
K: Suisham
D: NE
Scoring: 10yds rush/rec = 1pt, 25yds pass = 1pt, TD = 6pts, fumble/int. = -2pts
Start: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR/TE, TE, K, DST

I'd drop Moore for him, especially since you already have Ford on your roster. Probably no point in rostering two 'sleeper' WRs from the same team.

If you're gonna junk anyone, I'd probably flush Moore, but as good as Brown has looked during preseason, I think he's going to be a rotational player for the most part, and when sanders comes back, will lose even more snaps. I wouldn't get super excited about him just yet. Moore I think has a better shot at being a starter this year, esp. with Heyward Bey playing like trash and Murphy and Schillens still out.
