Offered Bowe and D. Williams for Forte - PPR

Postby HDFatBoySteelerFan » Wed Aug 31, 2011 9:12 am

Do I take the deal. Forte is my #2, Williams I think can put up numbers like Forte, but will he stay healthy. Bowe was added by the other owner to make the deal happen. Do I take a shot with Williams health, and use Bowe as a #2?

In PPR I don't think you should do it. Williams doesn't catch passes, so you'd be taking a downgrade at RB. Do you need Bowe to help out your WRs?

Thanks for responding Bisklimpkit, I should have added my team.
QB - Rivers, WR Lloyd, Boldin, S. Moss, RB Foster, Forte, RB/WR Green Ellis
Bench - WR - Edwards, Moore, Floyd, RB - McGahee, Ward (Foster Handcuff)

PPR Scoring:
1Pt - Reception, .25Pt Rush Attempt

Well your weakness on your roster is your wr's, so Bowe would be an upgrade here, so is the upgrade at wr worth the downgrade at rb? To me it is worth it. If DWill can stay healthy, there o-line can stay healthy he should be good for 1200 yards and 8-10 tds, which too me isn't that far off of what Forte will do. The big difference to me is Forte is younger, hasn't had the injury problems and he catches more passes, but with adding Bowe to the deal your team will be better overall. Good luck.

After seeing your roster, I agree with dblj9911. You need another WR that can put up some numbers for you, and I definitely think Bowe will make up for what you lose by using Williams instead of Forte. Go for it! ;-D

You needing another WR is a fact, but I dot trust any Carolina players, so I wouldn't do it

Thank You for the feedback, it was good to hear my WR are a weakness, I was optomistic they would above average given going by 2011 projection alone in H-H matchups I would go 10-3.
