Made two pretty big deal trades Grade me A-F on result WHIR

Postby yaluoza » Thu Sep 01, 2011 6:38 am

I just traded Romo, Jonathan stewart, and A.j. Green for Eli Manning, Jeremy Maclin, and Mike thomas.

I thought this was a fair trade and now i have Maclin as my WR3 which i like alot. I have Mike Thomas, Antonio Brown, and Steve smith, with bess on the bench and one of them is bound to have a top 25 season if not greater. I like freeman as my starter with eli manning at qb2.

I turned Tony Romo, Dez, Stevie Johnson, and Julio Jones into Megatron, Maclin, Mike Thomas, and Eli Manning.

I traded Dez, Stevie, and Julio for Calvin, A.j. Green, and Jon stewart.

I think i did very well what are your thoughts?

I like that you got c. Johnson. Not as high as you on manning, maclin & m. Thomas.

I think you have a pretty good team. I think you had a pretty good team before the trade. Just seems like a ton of movement and not a lot of real change overall.

Romo/Manning - Whatever really just backups on your team behind Freeman.

Dez/Johnson/Jones/Green for Johnson/Maclin - You got some nice players back but you gave up a ton of talent at the WR position overall. More or less you gave up more talent than you got back lateral move at best.

Overall looking at what you did I can't say your a better team now. If anything you hurt your WR depth and QB position. C-/D+

Agree here. I think Romo is top 7 this year and Eli is outside the top 12...this coming from a Giants fan.

I don't see how I hurt my wr depth. I now have Calvin/Maclin/Thomas instead of Steve Johnson, Dez, Julio.
Yeah i downgraded at qb but i'll take my chances with Freeman doing just as good if not slightly less than Romo.
Before the second trade, I had Steve Smith as my wr 3 with A.j. Green, Bess, and Antonio Brown on my bench did i not upgrade putting maclin as my wr3 and putting Mike thomas in the mix for the rookie A.j. green

I'm sorry if i seem defensive but i'm just trying to understand where you guys are coming from. Thanks for all your input btw.

Yeah I don't really like the 2nd trade and I'm actually not very high on J Stewart, but I like the first deal a lot.
