12 team league (yahoo) serpentine draft Scoring: 1pt every 20 rush and rec. 1pt every 50 pass 6pt TD per TD -2 fumble -2 interception 6pt kickoff and punt return TD non-ppr We start 1QB, 2WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1FLX, 1K and a DEF team.
My draft in order picked. I picked 3rd overall. Pick 1. Arian Foster 2. Michael Vick 3. Hakeem Nicks 4. Ahmad Bradshaw 5. Antonio Gates 6. Ryan Grant 7. Sydney rice 8. PHI D so those are my starters minus a kicker which I have yet to add
Bench Jerrome Harrison Ben Tate Lance Moore Antonio Brown Matt Cassel
We have a pretty shallow bench so bye weeks will be a shuffle but alot of things can change between now and then. Overall I like my team a whole bunch and just wanted some input from the experts here and I will rank yours...just leave a link.
Solid RB's in Foster and Bradshaw (assuming Jacobs becomes less of a factor) and a Stud QB. I think you've got some cause for concern at WR with Sidney Rice as your 2, but in a 12 team league its not horrible (especially since Gates is just as good as most WR2's). Your bench is weak, but it sounds like that will be a moving list as the season goes on....

With those scoring settings, you went about your draft the right way - guys who score TD's.
Foster/Vick/Nicks/Gates all should be at or near the top of guys at their position in the TD department, leagues like this - that's how you win.
Guys like Bradshaw lose a lot of value w/ these settings, I would almost prefer Jacobs in this instance.
Depending on what GB decides to do with Grant, he could end up being an absolute steal (GL touches for an elite offense is gold in this format).
I also like the Moore pick, IMO you'll end up playing him more often than Rice.
Good draft overall.

Damn that team looks sick. You've got some risk with the talk of Foster's hammy and I'm always worried about injury the way Vick plays, but man if they both stay healthy I don't see how anyone can beat you. Add Nicks and Gates into the mix and you are looking even better. I grabbed Antonio Brown too, who knows right? Sorry don't have much advice, you are looking really good.
I would love to have that team. I was 3rd pick as well. Aside from Foster, RB might be your weakness. WR look great. I still cant believe you got that in a 12 teamer 3rd pick. Thats exactly where I was - check it out below http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=492926
You're going to be stressing about the health of Foster, Gates, and Vick week to week, but if they're healthy I think you crush people. The only criticism I have is Rice at WR2. As a Vikes fan who has hated T-Jack for years, I could never draft a guy he is throwing to as a starter, but I don't think its going to matter for you as long as the rest of your starters get on the field. And its easy enough to find a serviceable receiver on waivers if Rice is a bust.
I like the team especially with these settings, i think the weakest part of your team is WR2 in rice, im sure with shallow benches there should be a better WR out on the wire, with TJ throwing i have no faith in him out in SEA this year, also HEALTH will be huge, if your guys can stay healthy then you have a very good chance at making a good playoff push...hope this helps
I pretty much agree with whats been said. WR2 is a concern, but its offset by Gates. If you can avoid injuries and find a gem or 2 on the WW during the season you're in good shape.
I think the guys in your draft fell asleep on the job. To take foster, vick, gates with your 5 pick ... that's really nice in a 12 team draft. I look at foster and vick as both being top 10 material, so vick was a very nice grab in the 22 spot.
Foster will be fine, but maybe not for the first game or two. You've got Ben Tate so it's all good. Maybe Tate will be the breakout star just like Arian was a year ago --- that would be fantasy glory.
