RB/WR depth?

Everytime i make a post sometimes people will say it will ruin ur wr/rb depth or improve it what does that mean? what is "depth" in fantasy football?

Usually they're talking about your backups and bench guys that play behind your starters, a mix of steady guys who could maybe fill in here and there in case of byes or minor injuries and high-upside guys who could explode and force their way into your starting lineups or be relatively cheap cuts if things don't break your way. Depending on the league size and bench size, it's usually a safe bet that you'll be advised (and rightfully so) to have a couple of usable guys at RB and WR on ice on your bench.
