RB & WR Decisions?

Postby eskimo92 » Wed Sep 04, 2002 8:00 am

I'm in a 10 team league with starters being 1QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1TE, 1WR/RB, 1K, 1DEF. I'm pretty loaded at RB and WR put I'm having trouble deciding who should start this week. My Rb's are
R. Williams
P. Holmes
F. Taylor
J. lewis
C. Portis

My Wr's
K. Johnson
S. Moss
J. Morton
R. Smith
R. Gardner

R. Williams for sure, Taylor is injury prone but he's going against Indy this week, Lewis against Carolina, Priest against a stingy Clev def. As for Wr's R. Smith for sure. Morton against that Clev def, I'm thinkin Gardner- Fun and Gun Wash, Maybe Johnson. I don't know. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Good luck in your leagues.

I would start Ricky Williams, Priest Holmes and Fred Talor in week one. They're all #1 backs. Johnson, Garner and Smith are good choices as well. See how that goes, but you've put together a nice team.

I'll try that this week, I'm just a little bit worried that Holmes won't produce against Clev, and that Lewis might destroy Carolina. Baltimore is going to have to sustain a ball control offense with Redman at the helm this year. We'll see what happens.

I agree with Trent on the starters and don't sit Holmes against any D unless he gets banged up.

I totally agree - you especially have to play Taylor this week, for no other reason than that his first game back might be his last....
