14 teams! What to work on?

Postby outsideoftime » Sun Sep 04, 2011 8:39 pm

14 teams
H2H
No playoffs
QB TD=4 all other TD=6
Return yards = rushing/receiving/passing yards (1 pt per 10 yards) <---makes return men super stars :(

I picked 9th overall. What should I look to fix as the season moves on?

QB- Tony Romo (Rodgers, Brady, Vick, Brees, and Rivers all went in top 8!)
WR- Brandon Marshall
WR- Jacoby Ford
RB- Jamaal Charles
RB- Peyton Hillis
TE- Todd Heap (waited to long here but hopeful as Heaps a number 2 option)
Flex- C.J. Spiller
Flex- Marc Mariani
K- David Akers
DEF- New England

Bench- QB Josh Freeman, WR Danny Amendola, WR A.J. Green, RB Dexter McCluster, RB Montario Hardesty

Free Agents looks thin right now. Carson Palmer and Terrell Owens haha. BenWatson and Kevin Boss at TE. Nate Washington and Anthony Armstrong at WR, and Cadilac Williams and Justin Forsett at RB.

Thanks!

For a 14 team league i think u did pretty good. I would drop heap for someone like Kendricks or cook who have alot more upside.

Thanks!

Sadly I looked into it and those two guys are gone already. Alot of teams took 2 TE's. I think 5 bench spots is pretty tight, I might have to drop one of my two RB handcuffs to get a 2nd TE. Or just ride Heap for a bit and see what happens.

I think you look pretty good for a 14 teamer.
With the QB run early you still ended up with a great two-some.
Jacoby Ford is mint.
I had to look up who Marc Mariani was :)
TE needs addressed. I'd drop McCluster and pick up Watson.

Haha on Mariani. He is a return specialist and a darn good one. Just to give a picture of the nonsense the draft was, because of return yards LaRod Stephens-Howling was a second round pick!

Good idea on the McCluster drop. You think he is worth less than Hardesty?
