Big $$ league PPR WHIR

Postby thebigsmooth » Mon Sep 05, 2011 9:21 am

This was my last draft of the year. It is my $$$ league.
10 team PPR 6pts TD's

1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1D, 1K

You have to draft at least 2 K, 2TE, 2D 20rounds

I had the #6 pick

QB: Romo, Stafford

RB: McCoy, Hillis, Hightower, Tolbert, J. Harrison, Helu

WR: Jennings, Bowe, Boldin, Garcon, Knox, D Moore

TE: J. Graham, A. Hernandez

D: Pats, Seahawks (bye week matchup is CLE)

K: Crosby, Bailey

Very good looking team. I am really high on Boldin this year, and having him as your wr3 is great value.

QB (9.5): very solid starter with good backup
RB (9): mccoy is a PPR god and hillis is an awesome ppr #2, not crazy a bout the depth after them tho
WR (9):awesome starting WRs, but ur bench once again scares me...knox still has yet to break out, garcon is in a mix of other WRs waiting for mannings return

Overall (9): your team i tough to grade. based on just ur starters i would say 9.5 but i really dont like ur depth at WR or RB. considering ur bench im gonna deduct a 0.5 but ur team def has potential

I like the team and it will easily be top 3. I don't like Boldin that much but as a 3 he can do.

If it wasn't PPR I'd dislike your RB core overall. Hillis is in a new pass friendly offense which could hinder his value. I'm not a Hightower fan at all and Tolbert won't see as many touches as last season as Mathews asserts himself as the primary back.

I always like to get a possession receiver in a PPR and I don't see a true one on your team. They are talented but mostly deep threats.

QB's are solid as are the TE's, no issues there.

Overall I'd rate slightly above average. McCoy will be sure to keep you in many matchups, he's a god in PPR.

Love the team. For PPR, you're stacked. My only spot that I don't LOVE is Graham, but being that you have to own 2 TEs, he should be fine as I'm sure there was an early run on the elites.

Romo is great
McCoy is ridiculous in PPR especially. Hillis should be fine if he doesn't get hit by the Madden curse.
Jennings and Bowe are both WR1 material and Boldin is a fine WR3 for you.

Great draft and good luck!

Would love an opinion on mine: viewtopic.php?t=493939

Gotta agree with most of the guys here. You should finish top 3 with a team like that.

Your starting lineup is strong. I had McCoy last year and he is great (although Vick stealing some scores/yards was frustrating at times for me).

I think your depth could use some work but honestly, its not bad. I think overall a very strong team
