i'd say mccoy, or go WR WR and take best, green, or felix next two picks then a QB RB WR of coarse all that depends on what the player pool is like.
Well, first of all let me correct you on this...the Steelers offensive line is actually MUCH MUCH better at run blocking than it is pass blocking. Run blocking is actually one of their biggest strengths as an O-Line and the reason Big Ben has to improvise so much in the passing game is because of the weakness of their pass blocking. Yes, they are transitioning more to a pass oriented offense but they will have balance and Mendenhall is the workhorse in that offense and will get his 300+ touches. The problem with him comes in his lack of use in the passing game which is less consequential in a non-PPR league.
I think in a non-PPR I would go with Mendenhall because the potential for TDs is higher there and I think he could end up close to McCoy as far as total yards go because he'll likely dwarf his rushing numbers enough to make up for some of the lack of receiving yards.
I'm with Matt here. I don't understand where this oline hate comes from --they are what they are. They are a decent running oline, and could survive in a west coast timing offense, but can't handle what they're asked to do, which is maintain protection throughout while the steelers execute their vertical passing game. If the steelers designed their offense ariund their oline, it would have to be a quick, timing based passing game. (Of course that would be stupid and waste the talents of their qb and fast young receiving crew.)
There is a reason mendy/Parker/the bus have consistently had success, and that's due to an oline that is built to be good enough for the run, with one star doing the pulling and leading the way (previously Faneca, now Pouncey). I don't see that as any different this year.
For my first round pick I'd rather have the risk-averse choice in Mendenhall.
Best... fantasy advice... EVER. :D

to each their own. but players such as best, and shonn green, felix jones are on the verge of being top 10 rb this year, so why not have 2 stud wr's 1 stud running back and 1 top 10 rb?
