12 Team PPR - Roster Thoughts

So I missed my draft due to work and ended up with the following. I'm kinda not happy with my RB situation and wonder if I should trade one of my stub WR's for a "stud" RB. What do you guys think? AmI okay, or should I look to trade R. White or Megatron? If so, who would you target?

We start 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1 Flex, TE, K and Def with the following scoring

reception = 1pt
10 yards = 1pt
100 yards = 5pts
200 yards = 10pts
TD = 6 pts

I wouldn't trade White or Johnson, you're not going to get appropriate value for them.

Your RB situation isn't that bad, no one screams RB1, but I think you have 3 very solid RB2's.

I have both Williams and Moreno ranked as 15-20 area for PPR RBs. Yes, you're missing a strong RB1, but wow you have amazing WRs.

I would try and work a trade of sending off Megatron for someone like an SJax, Hillis or Gore. I doubt you'll get anyone that is top 5, but you should be able to get a 5-10 RB which will give you a strong RB1. You would then have to fill that slot with Moore, which is less than ideal, but you have a greater chance of snagging a WR off the wire than you do a RB. For me, fantasy football is winning through consistency. WRs are too hit or miss. Though White and Megatron are always getting targeted, the RB still has the greater chance of getting the yardage and TDs.

You’ll have the best receiving crew in your league if you don’t trade any of them off. I’d say you should wait till after week 1 or 2 and grab a solid RB1 who is having a slow start to their season for Megatron or White.

I think twes is spot on here. Maybe you can try and package a 2 for 1 deal to upgrade one of your existing backs and somehow keep your two big receivers.

Agreed. Work on a 2 for 1 deal including one of your current RB2's. Might be able to entice someone and land an RB1, but keep your stud WR intact.
