Very competitive 14 team league. Rate Please! WHIR

Postby joefauci10 » Tue Sep 06, 2011 3:53 pm

I'm in a 14 team, PPR, keeper league. I'm pretty strong at my starting
RB spot, but i'm not sure who to play at the flex. Any advice on a lineup/how I drafted would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas.

I would probably go with Woodhead over Evans at flex just because I think Woodhead will get more touches. Evans is going to be based on connecting on a long strike so it could be feast or famine with him week to week. Woodhead will probably see 10-12 touches a game and probbaly catch a few passes as well.

I guess the debate between those two comes down to your risk aversion and weekly matchup, if you need the homerun than play Evans, if you think your team is stronger than your opponent play Woodhead.

I agree with the above poster regarding your flex, though I'll add this obvious statement: While Evans is more of a feast or famine play, also take into consideration the strength/difficulty of Woodhead's/Evan's matchup that week as well as weighing that out whether or not you need to homerun to outstretch your opponent that week.

As for your draft, it's hard to say because we don't know who your keepers were... but that's a damn solid team for a 14 team league IMO.
