First time drafting. How'd I do?

Postby redskinram » Tue Sep 06, 2011 4:14 pm

I'm in a 16 person league w/ 6pt pass td's and .5pt's per reception. I had the misfortune of drafting last. Knowing almost nothing about drafting strategies I decided before the draft I would go for as many starting RB's because theirs only 32 starters in the NFL and 2/3 spots on each team for RBs. Did i screw myself for not taking a better WR/QB earlier?

Great Runningbacks i like most of them where you drafted them but instead of maybe Hightower maybe a WR could have helped because your pretty thin on Wide Recievers from what I see but other wise pretty good for a first draft.

Thanks. I'm hoping I'll be able snag a sick wideout from one of few guys in a my league with no talent at RB.

I think you had a solid draft. Wr is a little concern but MJD at 17th pick was a steal

Well .......Julio in the 5th round is a huge mistake. you could have got him in the 10th round. In the 5th round there are plenty of solid proven wr still on the board. Thats where you wr problems started, but good news is you rb depth to trade away so you can recover a little of what was lost. Your qb has alot of upside if healthy and I like your choice of kicker. With the right trade you could end up with a contender. Overall not bad for a 16 team league ;-D
