Do I take the chance? Start Wayne?

Should I start Reggie Wayne. With all the talks of Manning going down Wayne loses value.

Here is my opening day team

QB: Tom Brady
RB: Peyton Hillis
RB: BenJarvis Green-Ellis
RB/WR: Anqaun Boldin
WR: Reggie Wayne
WR: DeSean Jackson
TE: Jason Witten
K: Mason Crosby
D/ST: Bears

I have three ways of do this.

- Start Wayne and take the chance.
- Start either Plaxico or Knox in his place.
- Move Boldin from my flex to Wayne's spot and start Fred Jackson or LT in the flex position.

I would still start Wayne. He'll probably get a lot of looks regardless of who is QB for the Colts, and he's so much better than your other options.

I would move boldin from flex to wr and start fred jackson at flex. I dont trust collins as a qb.

and i wouldn't start f. jackson over reggie wayne.

and lol at not trusting collins. would you not play marshall because you don't trust henne.

wayne will get his catches, yards and TD's..houston is horrible on defense

You'd be taking an even bigger chance by starting Knox (who isn't a starter right now) or Plaxico (who needs to show something before you consider starting him). Regardless of the QB, Reggie Wayne is the #1 option on that team. If you're talking about Collie or Garcon, then yes, I wouldn't recommend starting either of them right now. Wayne might not have a huge week, but he's a safer play.

As for Jackson at the flex, it could pay off, but Buffalo might end up having to throw all game, and there is always the threat of Spiller (even though he has under-performed). Again, I'd say Wayne is the safer play here, and he had TDs in both games against the Texans last year.

I have Wayne on my team also. I am definitely starting him this week.

The reason....Houston is a high powered offense. They are are going to score a lot of points. The Colts can't run the ball. The Colts will have no choice but to throw it a lot to try to stay in the game. Last year Houston was horrible against the pass. They have upgraded their Corners this year, but until they show me different I am considering them suspect.

If the Colts were playing a lower scoring team, I may downgrade Wayne a little. But again Houston, I think Wayne will have a big game.
