Well it looks like my first draft of the year didn't go very well judging by the reactions in my other thread so I was hoping you guys might be able to offer me some advice on my second draft which is tomorrow. Do you guys have any recommendations as to who to keep an eye out for when picking so late in round 1?
Positions to fill:
Quarterback (QB) 1
Running Back (RB) 2
Wide Receiver (WR) 2
Tight End (TE) 1
Place Kicker (K) 1
Bench (BE) 4
Here's the scoring:
Passing
Every 20 passing yards (PY20) 1 TD Pass (PTD) 4
50+ yard TD pass bonus (PTD50) 2 Interceptions Thrown (INT) -2
2pt Passing Conversion (2PC) 2 Sacked (SK) -1
Rushing
Every 10 rushing yards (RY10) 1 TD Rush (RTD) 6
50+ yard TD rush bonus (RTD50) 2 2pt Rushing Conversion (2PR) 2
Receiving
Every 10 receiving yards (REY10) 1 TD Reception (RETD) 6
50+ yard TD rec bonus (RETD50) 2 2pt Receiving Conversion (2PRE) 2
Miscellaneous
Total Fumbles Lost (FUML) -1
Kicking
Each PAT Made (PAT) 1 Each PAT Missed (PATM) -1
Total FG Missed (FGM) -1 FG Made (0-39 yards) (FG0) 3
FG Made (40-49 yards) (FG40) 4 FG Made (50+ yards) (FG50) 5

How many teams? PPR?
No flex position?
You know what spot you draft at?

Okay.
I'm guessing you start a D too? So is roster below correct?
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 TE
1 D
1 K
4 Bench
Picking 11 out of 12, I would say you could end up with Mendenhall, Gore & other RB in that category & some of the top WR.
Me personally would draft 1 RB & 1 WR with my 1st picks. Picking guys with minimal risk (ie injury/health risk).
I'll try to post more once you finalize the roster set-up.

There is no D which I think is stupid but it is what it is. What I posted is what we pick. :(

I'm trying to wrap my head around no D & having only 11 guys on your team.
In that case I would probably take a QB in round 1 or 2. Don't feel like you have to take Rodgers or Vick if you don't want them but still take a top 5 QB.
If you take RB & QB with your first 2 picks however you go rb/qb or qb/rb then I would really pick 1 wr with your 3rd or 4th round pick. Same goes if it's WR/QB with your first 2 then pick a RB with 3 or 4.
Go with best available and don't try to reach real high in the early rounds.
You should be able to have good depth at RB & WR.
TE has pretty good depth even if you don't get a top 5 - after them it's all about the same.
Pick K last.
Hope this helps & any other questions

Yeah this league setup seems weird to me too although it's only my second draft so I wasn't sure if it was my other league that was the strange one. thanks for the tips
