Moss worth a #1 waiver wire claim?

Postby futanto » Tue Sep 06, 2011 11:28 pm

My receivers are:

1) Dez Bryant
2) S. Holmes
3) AJ Green

Not much on WW due to 12-team league

would u use a #1 WW on randy moss?
Alternatively, I can skip the waiver wire and pick up steve smith (philly)

Would you have to drop one of those WR's to get Moss? If so I definitely would pass.

Wait until after the first week to use up your number 1 spot on the WW.

Having the #1 waiver wire priority could be GOLD! Depending on the level of your league, some inexperienced owners drop studs who start off slow. It may not happen in every league, but I've won leagues before by scooping up a stud that started off slow and was prematurely dropped (I believe Greg Jennings a few years ago).

If it becomes CONFIRMED that Moss is coming back, and to New England, then go ahead and do it. but, until then, I don't think it's worth it.
Thanks to deluxe_247 for this awesome sig!

i dont think its worth it. too many variables especially if you want to drop one of your WRs

i think the offense in new england has reverted in new england to their super bowl run so not one receiver will be the focus of the offense. even if moss went back i dont think he get as many targets as he used to.

i dont thinking burning a #1 claim on so-so prospects is worth it

your better off saving your priority on someone else
please help my team

When I saw this thread I got really excited and though that Moss had signed somewhere. :(

I would have to know that the player was actually, you know, on the team!! Long before I would waste number one on that
