Tolbert or Grant or Daniel Thomas for flex

Flex position question. Non-ppr league.
Mike Tolbert v. Minnesota
Ryan Grant v. NO
Daniel Thomas v. NE

My lean was Grant until I saw the news today that Grant and Starks will be a 50/50 timeshare. Ugh.

Pick one. Will help with your question.

I think Tolbert is your best bet. He's the goal line and third down back on a powerful offense, and Minnesota's defense isn't what it once was. Plopping in a touchdown isn't too hard to visualize this week.

Grant will start the game against NO, but how many touches will he see in the third and fourth quarter? Especially when it looks like Starks is the third down back?

As for Thomas, he's probably not going to see too much action. Once the Dolphins fall behind, Bush won't be coming off the field much. I could easily see him getting less than 10 touches.

I think the logical choice is Tolbert right now. Daniel Thomas hasn't shown anything that would lead me to believe he's startable right now. The Grant/Starks time share doesn't appeal to me as much as the Mathews/Tolbert one, where Tolbert legitimately put up numbers.

I wouldn't choose Thomas at this point. It's close between Tolbert and Grant. I think I would go Grant. Tolbert's value is based so much on TDs which are unpredictable, and Minnesota is much more vulnerable through the air than on the ground. Starks had one good playoff game, which is making people think he's a lot better than he is. I see Grant getting ball more than Starks, in what should be a high-scoring game.
