Bit of a quandary in week one

WR: Plax vs Dal D or Bryant vs Jets D: Currently I have slotted Plax and Welker as my starters. On Bench I have Dez vs Jets Mike SIms Walker vs STL and Julio Jones vs Chi.

What do you all think is Plax vs Dal D a better pick the Dez vs Jets?


Also I am starting AP and Steven Jackson in my WR/ RB slot I selected Tim Hightower vs NYG over Blount vs Det Def is this a logical choice?

Take Bryant over Plaxico. Revis will be on Austin, so Bryant should have one-on-one all day and do well.
I'd put in Blount over Hightower. You KNOW Blount is going to get the ball lots, and you never know what Shanahan is going to do with his RBs.

I would roll with Dez Bryant as well. The Jets were just average against the pass last year, and Bryant has been looking great so far. Plax isn't a bad call, but I think Bryant and Witten are going to see a lot of targets.

I would also roll with Blount, who will definitely get the lions share of the carries. I don't know what the mix is going to be between Hightower, Torain, and Helu, but Shanahan is notorious for swapping RBs out. Remember these guys from the Broncos? (Mike Anderson, Tatum Bell, Mike Bell, Cedric Cobbs, Travis Henry, Selvin Young, Peyton Hillis, Micheal Pittman, Ryan Torain). All those dudes were starters at some point between 2005 and 2008.

Dez without a doubt... dude is a freak. And as mentioned before, Revis will be on Austin, making Dez a better target for Romo.
