Who should I drop for a K and DEF? WHIR 100%

Postby ATLbraves » Wed Sep 07, 2011 6:41 pm

Since I'm not making a trade to get a better RB, I need to drop 2 players for a kicker and defense.

Who should I drop? I'm thinking the obvious choices are Antonio Brown and Pettigrew, just wanted to make sure that's the right decision.

Starting Roster:
QB - Matt Ryan
WR - Roddy White
WR - Miles Austin
WR - Greg Jennings
RB - DeAngelo Williams
RB - LeGarrette Blount
TE - Jason Witten
WR/RB/TE - Mike Williams

Bench:
Knowshon Moreno
(Den - RB)
Johnny Knox
(Chi - WR)
Daniel Thomas
(Mia - RB)
Brandon Pettigrew
(Det - TE)
Stevie Johnson
(Buf - WR)
Antonio Brown
(Pit - WR)
Marshawn Lynch
(Sea - RB)

I think Brown is a lock to drop. I think the other drop is either Thomas or Pettigrew. I would go Pettigrew although I think he will put up solid number but I feel the TE position is more deep. Nice team by the way ;-D
help me please?

Pettigrew and Johnny Knoxville.
Tough luck on that trade. Problem is everyone knows you have to drop some guys!

Pettigrew and Brown. I think Sanders could still be a threat to him.

I would try to hold onto Knox for a bit, I think he will eventually have to win the starting WR job (at least I hope so) Roy Williams is absolute trash.

Defiantly drop Pettigrew, he is getting too much hype and his numbers were way lower last year when Stafford played. If Stafford stays healthy look for Pettigrew to have lower numbers then projected and this coming from a blue and silver fan. The last person I would drop would probably be Brown despite having an outstanding preseason, his job isn't locked up with Sanders still in the WR mix.
