Rule 1 - don't panic, ever. Wait and see if he hooks up with some other team (he should), then evaluate your options. I wouldn't even consider either Jags QB as a backup; there have to be other options out there. Listing some QB's on your waiver wire will help you get some advice. Remember it's your backup QB, not your starter, so there's no reason to be in a rush. Good luck!

I could get Chad Henne, Matt Hasselbeck, Tarvaris Jackson, John Beck, Tim Tebow, Rex Grossman, Carson Palmer, Gavvert, Locker, Dalton, Ponder, Kaepernick, etc...

I'm leaning towards Henne. What do you think?
Out of those options, I think Henne is your best bet.
I agree on Henne. Hasselbeck is interesting this year, and I think people are dismissing him too quickly, but that Miami offense is going to be full of short throws and dump-offs, with the occcasional deep ball to B Marshall. They really don't have a classic running game to speak of, so they'll use bubble routes and screens for Reggie Bush where other teams use pitchouts. That makes Henne a viable backup pretty much any week. Good luck!
